Meet new bead instructor Barb Enoch at an Open House at Quilter's Fancy from 11 to 4pm Saturday, June 4.

Beading will be demonstrated during the Open House. Children with a parent, adult or older helper can string some beads and make a colorful project. Anyone of any age and ability is welcome to pick up a needle, thread and some beads to see what bead stringing is like.

Barb will show beaded earrings, necklaces, bracelets and other projects she will be teaching in coming weeks. She also plans to teach beaded Christmas ornaments in the future. Refreshments will be served.

Barb described her experience with beading. “Since I could pick up a needle at about 9 years old, I have been beading.” She added, “I love to teach, and I love to help people learn things.”

“We will start with easy beading and work up to some really fancy stuff and turn anyone into an expert in no time,” she said.

Quilter's Fancy, with Beads by Berrie, features the highest quality Miyuki beads in the world at reasonable prices. Watch for future announcements about dates for bead classes.

Beads by Berrie, was the life work of teacher Berrie Buttrick and her husband Bud from Nelson’s Ledges. Now her daughter Diana has carried on her legacy and love of beading with the diverse Bead Department at Quilter’s Fancy.
