Beginning Machine Piecing
A beginning quilt class is starting at Quilter's Fancy on Wednesday Feb. 20. It will meet for seven weeks in all, ending April 3.
This is a class especially for those who want to learn to machine piece a quilt top or for those who are self-taught and would like to learn techniques. But anyone is welcome regardless of experience. Learn to make color and fabric choices, proper use of rotary cutter and mat, speed-piecing techniques, squaring up your blocks and adding borders and bindings.
Cost is as follows:
-- Book, $14.95;
-- Teaching fee, $5 per student per class ($35 total);
-- Fabric
Students will receive a 10% discount on the book, fabric and all supplies purchased for the class, plus 10% off on purchases the day of each class (some exclusions apply).

Requirements: | Supply list to bring to class: -- Sewing Machine in good working order with manual and 1/4" piecing foot -- Size 80 or 90 machine needles -- Neutral thread to match fabrics -- Rotary cutter and cutting mat -- 6 1/2" by 24 1/2" ruler and 6 1/2" square -- Fabric scissors, pins, pin cushion and seam ripper |
