has moved!

There is a good reason to venture out this winter. Quilter's Fancy has moved! You won't have to look hard to find us. We are just 50 feet west of where we were but closer to High Street. We quadrupled our floor space and have a dedicated roomy classroom with great light.

  • Nancy Bowen, of Nana's Needlework, designer of Victorian ladies redwork embroidery patterns, will be visiting with all her quilts.
  • Berrie & Bud of Beading With Berrie will be on hand for our grand re-opening to show you around the beading dept and demonstrate beading.

Designers Two is partying too with all holiday fabric & other goodies on special.

Classes January-May

  • Bring Basic Sewing Supplies to classes: scissors for paper & fabric, 6-inch ruler or other measure, pins with heads, chalk marker, strong poly thread - gray is good.
  • Receive 10% off after class purchases
  • Class Registration - To be in class, prepay a deposit 2 weeks in advance if possible. If you must cancel, we can transfer you to another class or refund your money. No refunds 48 hours before class. Your kit, your seat & lunch are ready for you so please take registration seriously. Bring lunch, order out or have our lunch buffet for $2

Hand Quilting II - Trapunto, Quilt Marking

Trapunto is a beautiful, easy relaxing technique that makes hand quilting special. If you enjoyed Hand Quilting I and want to practice with other Thimble Lady stitchers, this class is for you. Hand Quilting I required. Bring small sharp scissors. Class & kit $15. M

Dyeing Lace Vintage
11am-3pm Wed Jan 28

Create a shabby chic denim shirt or other garment by embellishing the shirt with hand-dyed lace. Easily and pleasantly dye lace in class. Class, paint fee & lunch $10. Bring your own shirt. Add your own kit made up of whatever lace motifs you choose. Lace motifs range in price from 50 cents to $1.75 & some are more. M

SEWING TIP from Berrie!

Did you know that bugle beads, more often than not, have sharp edges that will cut your thread. Always place a seed bead at the end of each side of the bugle.
